Jeggings - Is it the next fashion faux pas?

aThere has been both positive and negative chatter about jeggings a.k.a jean leggings lately so I thought I post an outfit to get your feedback. I personally like jeggings because they have the comfort of a legging but the look of a jean and they are very affordable.  Since this week is casual wear for me, I thought I would shift my focus on some casual fashion this week.

I would pair the jeggings with a dress shirt and some cute leopard heels as shown below.

Sweet Frugal Career Fashion Deals

Costa Blanca is having a huge family and friends sale tomorrow, 50% off the entire store and it runs through to Monday November 16, 2009.  I love Costa Blanca because it has lots of good frugal career fashion pieces.

I put together this outfit from Costa Blanca.  I would tuck the cami into the skirt and layer it with a sweater.

Lace Yoke Cardigan - Costa Blanca
Plaid Tier Ruffle Cami - Costa Blanca
Self Belted Pencil Skirt - Costa Blanca

Hope you all like it.  Let me know if the sale was any good to you.

Corporate Edgy

I'm pretty use to wearing dress pants to work everyday but dresses are my new love. This dress from Forever 21 is only $28. It's great because you can wear it as is for a night out with the girls or dress it up with a blazer or just a plain turtleneck underneath for a more business casual outfit.

I found this top from Alloy.com for $6 USD. It's just a basic piece that should work nicely with the dress.
These shoes in the same style but in black from Love My Shoes aren't bad. I'm not sure if they ship to Canada because on their website they don't specifically state that they ship only to the US.

What do you guys think? Yay or nay for this outfit?

Sleek and Sophisticated

I'm not a fan of wearing skirts to work but I don't mind pairing a cute skirt with some booties and a wide belt. This skirt is from Suzy Shier and only retails $25.00.

These boots from GoJane.com makes a great pairing. I love Go Jane because they have shoes that are very stylish and yet affordable.

This top from Dynamite would go well with this outfit. For $39.90 its a bit pricey for me but I think it makes a good investment piece.

This belt from Aldo would pull the outfit together.

Would you tuck the shirt in or wear it untuck?

Flutter Me Pretty

I am in love with this top from Forever 21. Best of all it is only $27.80 CAD.
I would pair this top with some grey pants from Dynamite seen below on sale for $25.00.

These shoes from GoJane would also go very nicely with this outfit and at $21.50 USD who can go wrong?

I would also add a cute long necklace and some dangling earrings. What do you guys think? Is this a good outfit for a casual business environment or too dressy?
